The third annual Edele Winnie Women's Monologue Competition featured a record-breaking 15 contestants, who entertained enthusiastic audiences over two fantastic evenings of performances!

This year was extra special as each monologue chosen from Other Mother Goose told one part of a complete story; described by the author as "a tale about what happens when you step outside of your comfort zone, when you take a risk and become something that you never imagined you'd be".

At the end of the final performance on March 23rd, the winners were revealed: first place (gold) walked away with $300; second place (silver) received $200; third place (bronze) received $100; and ALL runners-up received $50.

Here are the final results:

Edele Winnie's three books of 100 monologues for women -- Big Mouth, Cracked Heart, and Other Mother Goose -- as well as a buffet of her other written works can be found on amazon.ca.

Check back early next year for information on performances and how to register for The 2025 Edele Winnie Women's Monologue Competition. Will there be a FOURTH book of monologues?? Only time will tell. But with nearly 200 monologues yet to be performed from her first three books, Edele Winnie has already given Windsor-Essex women plenty of spectacular material to choose from either way!
