Competition
The second annual Edele Winnie Women's Monologue Competition was a roaring success! With more than double the contestants from last year's event, audiences were treated to two SOLD OUT evenings of performances from some of the best and brightest talent Windsor-Essex has to offer.
The monologues ranged from the beautiful to the absurd. They were funny, poignant, thought-provoking, and heart breaking. Our five esteemed judges and audience members alike had their work cut out for them, and the final scores were so close that the results had to be calculated using two decimal places.
At the end of the final performance on March 18th, the winners were revealed: first place (gold) walked away with $300; second place (silver) received $200; third place (bronze) received $100; and ALL runners-up received $50.
