Reinhart, an arrogant yuppie from Logistics and Risk Management, is trapped in a corporate "safe room" with mousey Meghan from the Wellness Department. Reinhart, bored and impatient, believes the "SHELTER IN PLACE" notification is just a waste-of-time drill. Meghan, a worrier, is convinced something more serious and dangerous is happening. They pass the time with chit-chat that moves from meaningless banter to bitter disagreement. With no cell reception and no information from Management, they are left to confide, joke and clash with one another, as they reveal aspects of their personalities they wouldn't want anyone else in the company to see.
SHELTER IN PLACE will be preceded by three monologues written by Matthew St. Amand:
