Meet the Cast of Mirabella

Joey Ouellette

JOEY (Playwright; Detective Michael Byrne and Conrad Keyo) is an prolific director, actor, producer, ardent environmentalist, lover of the arts, playwright and three-time winner of The Windsor-Essex Playwriting Contest. He’s also the Artistic Director of Purple Theatre Company, one of The Shadowbox Theatre’s resident theatre companies. He has performed in hundreds of plays, written hundreds more, and will no doubt add to these totals unless someone stops him. Recent roles include: Shelley Levene in Glengarry Glen Ross, Robin in The Children, Markus in Stuck (all with Post Productions); Peter in Walking Upsidedown Underwater (Windsor Feminist Theatre); and Roggo in The Rinsing Witch (Purple Theatre Company). You can see him next as Harry Wade in Hangmen by Martin McDonagh, coming October 2023 from Post Productions.

Fay Lynn

FAY (Producer; Detective Lila Osillic and Sherri Carter) has spent more than half her life on and around a stage. On top of being the Artistic Director of Post Productions and manager/co-owner of The Shadowbox Theatre, she is an actor, director, producer, writer, stage manager, set/prop designer, and floor sweeper. Recent acting credits include: B in Three Tall Women (Post Productions), Detective Spears in Walking Upsidedown Underwater (Windsor Feminist Theatre), and Christina Yowzerminn in Christina Yowzerminn Wants You (Jaz Morneau). The theatre is like a drug -- once you become addicted, nothing else will satisfy you.

Michael K. Potter

MICHAEL (Director; Eamon Conner, Stephan Illyich Lebedev, and Benjamin Burrows) is the co-owner of The Shadowbox Theatre and Managing Director of Post Productions, where he also produces and directs plays (Glengarry Glen Ross, The Pillowman, Equus, Blasted, The Beauty Queen of Leenane, Stop Kiss, Fatboy, True West). Michael still gets dragged into acting occasionally – most recently as Roma in Glengarry Glen Ross, Shawn in Pirate Attack on the 1C Bus Going Downtown, Ian in Blasted, Rolly in Criminal Genius, Singleton Kastamangas in Negatunity, Cradeau in No Exit, Willie in Another Fucking Christmas Play: A Fucking Musical, Reinhart in Shelter in Place, Wesley in The Worst Thing I Ever Did, John in Oleanna, and The Enforcer in season 3 of the Space/SyFy's T.V. series Killjoys. During the day he is a Teaching and Learning Specialist at the University of Windsor. In 2022 Michael received an award for leadership in the performing arts (theatre) from Windsor Endowment for the Arts. Mirabella has joined his list of favourite plays; he hopes it joins your list as well.
