Wassailing in a Windsor Wonderland - Meet Sketchy Jésus and the Questionables

Sketchy Jésus and the Questionables is a loose collective of musicians and vocalists that has no permanent members, no genre, no formal identity, and no egos. As a label for whichever group of artists happens to coalesce for a Post Productions project, when Sketchy Jésus and the Questionables materializes into a brief period of existence its purposes are to explore and nourish creativity, empower artists – and continually strive to tiptoe the thin line dividing sincerity from satire and authenticity from parody. Each project by Sketchy Jésus and the Questionables is a work of sincere, authentic, devout satire and parody as a form of creative exploration. How far can a song be pushed, tested, stretched, and vivisected before it ceases to be that song? What deep truth can we learn by drawing attention to a song’s clichés? We have no idea and we’re fine with that.

Shane Trowbridge

Musical Director/Project Leader/Composer - Bass

Shane Trowbridge is the musical director, project leader, session bassist, and composer for this unique festive project. When he isn't working on unique Christmas albums, he is also a film director, screenwriter, film composer, and bassist for the bands The Cursed & The Graceful (EP coming soon) and EarthBound (undergoing a name change and a re-recording of an old release). His favourite pastimes are playing Zelda games, watching movies, eating spicy food, and doing so many artistic projects that he has no time to do the first three activities. This Christmas album was a challenging, ambitious, yet enjoyable ride! If you don't like Christmas music, we think this album will change your mind. Happy holidays! Adrian Deschamps

Musical Director/Project Leader - Vocals/Guitar

Adrian Deschamps has been playing music since the age of 13 and has always joked about making a Christmas album - and well, here we are! As a Music Director and Project Leader for this album, Adrian has greatly enjoyed being able to fuse different musical genres into songs that everyone enjoys during the Christmas season. Adrian is also a Guitarist and Vocalist in the band The Cursed & The Graceful, enjoys writing, and embraces creativity in any form.

Eric Baranosky

Recording/Mixing/Mastering - Drum Programming/Guitar

Eric Baranosky is a Windsor-based guitarist/writer for Welcome Annihilation and guitarist/producer/writer for ERASE. He is also the owner/operator of Erase Audio. His style is primarily as heavy as it gets, with a deeply rooted love of pop punk and 90's rap. After years of playing guitar in his room with a combo amp, he discovered the world of amp sims and Digital Audio Workstations in 2020. This newly discovered obsession sent him on a deep dive into music production that led him places he never thought imaginable - being a full-time member and writer in two bands and founding his own mixing and engineering company. The journey of taking a song from imagination to final product is what fuels his passion. He cannot wait to explore more genres, artists, and audio!

Samraj Aujla

Vocals

Samraj Aujla aka Sammy Smash is a 30-year-old rapper whose musical journey took root in grade 4. After a detour into music production at Fanshawe College and a stint in IT, he reignited his passion for rap during the 2020 pandemic. Now he crafts unique compositions that seamlessly blend rap, slam poetry, technology, and the beats of hip-hop.

Jordan Bonneau

Guitar

Music is Jordan Bonneau’s creative outlet for self-expression. Jordan has been a musician for seventeen-years, being part of many different musical adventures. He started with guitar but through the years, like many other musicians, he learned to play other instruments like slide guitar, harmonica, piano, and drums. Most notably he likes to build his own instruments as well as repair them for others. He specializes in repairing electronics for instruments, amps, and pedals. Previously, as part of Half Step Away, he and his partners helped to provide music lessons for Abode Respite Services.

Amelia Daigle

Vocals

Winner of the 2015 National Opera Competition of Canada, Amelia Daigle has had the pleasure of performing on stages across Europe and North America. When Amelia isn't singing or teaching music you can find her at the gym pumping members up in her fitness classes. An artist of many passions, Amelia also loves visual art, photography, travelling, and portaging in Algonquin Park. In 2021 Amelia formed a group by the name of Alma with her colleague, Daniel Turner (guitar) which involves the exploration and performance of Spanish Zarzuela, Opera and Art Song. The duo made its European debut in the summer of 2023 at La Roche D’Hys Summer Music Festival in Burgundy, France as well as The Camino Artes Guitar Festival in Carrión de los Condes, Spain. Amelia holds a MMus in Vocal Performance and Literature from Western University and has received training at various workshops such as Académie de la Roche D'Hys (Massingy-lès-Vitteaux, France, July 2019 & 2023), Operavision Academy (Busseto, Italy, July 2018), and Camino de Las Artes Music Festival (Carrion de Los Condes, Spain, August 2023).

Tony Diamante

Vocals/Keyboard

Tony Diamante has been playing piano and keyboard for around eighteen-years and singing for twelve.  He has been in a few bands over the years playing rock and blues music. His musical influences come from classic rock bands such as The Doors, Deep Purple, and Santana. He also took part in writing a song that has been published!

Aaron Gasparini

Aaron Gasparini has dedicated nearly two decades of his life to the world of music. With extensive experience playing in numerous bands, his versatility and skill have shone through various musical genres. Notably, as the musical director for an acclaimed production of Reefer Madness, he showcased not just his musical prowess but also his leadership and creativity. Beyond performing, Aaron is a dedicated music teacher of many years who takes pride in educating the next generation of musicians.

Anthony Giacolone

Anthony Giacolone is a Metalcore/Screamcore vocalist whose band, Among the Rest, has been playing in the Windsor-Essex region since 2017.  Among the Rest’s fourth EP will be released shortly. Rebecca S. Mickle

Vocals

Rebecca S. Mickle is a singer, songwriter, and actress from Harrow, ON. She received her Master of Music in Opera and Classical Performance from Wayne State and much of her personal style is drawn from her classical and musical theatre training. She is also a huge metal and alternative rock fan! She is the lead singer of Indie Autumn and has a solo album titled “In the Garden”.

Julia Pastorius

Julia Pastorius is a Windsor-based singer and performance artist who has appeared in several plays produced by Post Productions, including Blasted and Another Fucking Christmas Play: A Fucking Musical. In addition to acting, Julia practices the arts of music, dancing, acrobatics, and choreography.

Ezra Poku-Christian

Vocals

Ezra Poku-Christian is a Windsor-based singer, actor, writer, teacher, and lover of snakes and cats. They began singing at ten years old under the tutelage of Kathy Rogers, and now spends their time with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra Chorus. In their spare time they enjoy watching anime and aggressively crafting.

Christina Sirianni

Vocals

This album is the first time Christina Sirianni has stepped outside the mere role of 'friend' to actually collaborate on a project with Post Productions. Christina is a vocalists, born and raised in Windsor, Ontario. In her spare time, Christina will take any opportunity to hike, jog, bike, sing, dance, climb, kayak, get outdoors, or watch some live theatre/comedy/music. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Windsor - now happily practicing as a professional in these fields. She is excited to breathe new life into these classic Christmas tunes in the name of raising money for a good cause (a.k.a. Abode Respite).

Michael K. Potter

Executive Producer - Vocals

A relative neophyte and dabbler in music, Michael K. Potter is the Managing Director of Post Productions and co-owner of The Shadowbox Theatre. In addition to his work as a director, producer, educator, philosopher, writer, and actor he has found time over the years to experiment with punk and folk performance thanks to the low standards of his collaborators. Michael’s musical influences include David Bowie, Dolly Parton, Trent Reznor, and Peaches. In 2018 Michael co-wrote the hit musical Another Fucking Christmas Play: A Fucking Musical, which equally delighted and alienated audiences. In 2022 he received an award for Leadership in the Performing Arts (theatre) from Windsor Endowment for the Arts.
