Having never been an anarchist or a murderer herself, CINDY PASTORIUS is excited and nervous to be portraying Cathy in this intense show (so many words!!!). She has been active both on stage & behind the scenes in local theatre for over 20 years. She is a ridiculously proud “Gaga” to her beautiful grandsons, Roen & Theo, the lucky partner to the “poster boy” Carl, and the braggadocios mom of Devon & Julia. Special thanks to Fay & Michael for always seeing things in Cindy she doesn’t see in herself. And thank YOU for supporting local regional independent theatre!

mARY gRACE wEIR AS aNN

Like her character Ann, MARY GRACE WEIR is at an age where she is looking back at her life and sometimes wondering about the value of the choices she has made along the way. Certainty is always elusive, and the quest for certainty can often interfere with faith in oneself and enjoyment of one’s achievements. Mary Grace has done a lot of theatre since returning to it in 2019 – 8 shows for 5 different theatre companies and one more independently produced. Although she loves it, she still has occasional bouts of uncertainty about whether she should be doing it. But she is happy to report that such doubts are becoming rarer. The Anarchist has been one of the more challenging plays she has worked on. She was skeptical about it when she first read it about a year ago. Happily, instead of rejecting it out of hand, she decided to give it another read or two before deciding whether it was something she would want to work on, because it has definitely grown on her. The very collaborative rehearsal process has been a delight, and she thanks her co-conspirators for making work on this production such a wonderful experience.
