Meet the Cast of Prepared by Kari Bentley-Quinn

NIKI RICHARDSON AS LYDIA

NIKI RICHARDSON (Lydia) began her stage career in the 90s with The Cheeky Monkeys Improv Troupe and Inverarity Productions’ Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre. In 1998, she began performing stage musicals at the Chrysler Theatre with Theatre Alive. Also around this time, Niki became involved with Plaid Jacket Productions (Leamington), followed by Theatre Windsor, with whom she won a WODL Best Actress award in 2011 for playing Martha in their production of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? She was also nominated out of festival for Best Director for her production of Bedside Manners that same year.  Some of her more memorable roles include August; Osage County - Barbara Fordham, The Taming of the Shrew - Katherine Minola, Boeing-Boeing! - Berthe, Steel Magnolias - Truvy Jones, Witness For The Prosecution - Romaine Vole, The Graduate - Mrs. Braddock, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike - Sonia and And Then There Where None - Vera Claythorne.  Last time Niki was on the Shadowbox stage, she was blessed to portray Sister Aloysius in Doubt and she is so excited to be back. She is confident you will love this script and cast as much as she does, and would like to thank Fay, Michael, and Kari for this opportunity.

CAIDEN FINLAY AS THE BOY

CAIDEN FINLAY (The Boy) is thrilled to be making his first appearance in a Post Productions show and his first-ever straight play. Caiden is currently a grade 11 student at Walkerville Collegiate Institute and is a part of their WCCA (Walkerville Center for the Creative Arts) program. He partakes in the Drama, Vocal, and Dance programs at Walkerville, where he learns from the best (Jeff Marontate, Sarah Prenney, Rodger Wellington). Caiden has been involved in the arts since 2015 and has been a part of many theatrical companies in Windsor-Essex. He has been involved with Windsor Light Music Theater (The Little Mermaid - Flounder, Elf the Musical - Michael Hobbs), Drama Space (Shrek the Musical Jr - Shrek), and Lakeshore Academy of Fine Arts (Adams Family - Uncle Fester, Legally Blonde Jr - Emmett Forest, 13 the Musical - Evan Goldman, and many more). Caiden has travelled the world performing as part of the Lakeshore Academy of Fine Arts Elite Competitive team. Travelling places like L.A, New Jersey, and Scotland (Edinburgh Fringe Festival). Training with Sarah Illianich, Kathy Roberts, and Hailey Joy, Caiden took his learning to a more advanced level. Caiden can't wait to see what the future brings him and his love for the performing arts.

FRED KRYSKO AS MARSHALL

This is FRED KRYSKO’s (Marshall) first time performing in front of a Windsor audience. Previously he’s trod the boards in Calgary, Winnipeg, Edmonton, and Chicago. Some favourite roles include Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing, Sam Nash in Plaza Suite, Raphael Coughlan in Portia Coughlan, Mr. Braddock in The Graduate, Solinas in Comedy of Errors, Brendan in The Weir, Richard Warwick in The Unexpected Guest, Judge in Inherit the Wind, Count Puchlik Puszcsykowo in A Secondary Cause of Death, Styles and Lieutenant Sergeant in The Peacock Season, Senator Thomas Jordan in The Manchurian Candidate, Gerard de Villefort in Count of Monte Cristo, and Steven Truscott in Steven: The Steven Truscott Story. Fred is excited to be a part of this very talented cast and thrilled to work with Fay and Michael of Post Productions. He’s honoured to help bring to life this riveting and very human Kari Bentley-Quinn play. Enjoy your evening of theatre!

ALYX MAGWOOD AS TREY

ALYXANDER J. MAGWOOD (Trey) is overjoyed to return to the stage to be making their regional theatre debut. Past theatre credits include Vacation Swing in the national tour The SpongeBob Musical. Alyx has also been an extra in several film and television productions, including:  Stephen Kings’ IT (2017), Degrassi: The Next Generation (2015), and Degrassi: Next Class. During the shutdown Alyx found their love for retro gaming, and perfected their chicken sandwich recipe. Love to Chantal, Jordan, Shelley, Paul, and Rebecca.
